David W. Lewis, FCBI
Partner

Dave is a Merger & Acquisition Specialist and Partner. Dave established ProForma West, LLC in 1987 and operates out of the Westminster office. During his 19 years as a business intermediary, Dave has successfully negotiated the sale of hundreds of businesses. He has testified as an expert witness for cases involving business valuations and other business acquisition related issues. Prior to establishing ProForma West, LLC, Dave was a corporate officer in several companies where he served in President, Vice President and Director positions. The majority of Dave's previous professional experience was in the petroleum and mining industries. He is a member of the International Business Broker Association, Association for Corporate Growth and M & A Source. Dave is also a Fellow Certified Business Intermediary, a distinction awarded only to highly qualified and experienced intermediaries. Dave's education includes an MBA from the University of Denver, a degree in Business Administration from the University of Wyoming, and is licensed in the State of Colorado to provide intermediary services.

Kris L. Nielsen
Partner

Kris is a Merger & Acquisition Specialist and Partner. Kris joined ProForma West, LLC in 1991 and became a partner in 1993. Kris established the Fort Collins and Denver, Colorado offices and the Irvine, California office. He is currently responsible for the Western Colorado and California operations. In his 14 years as a business intermediary, Kris has successfully negotiated the sale of over one hundred businesses. Prior to joining ProForma West, he was CFO for several large corporations and spent five years with one of the Big Five accounting firms. He graduated with honors from Kansas State University with a degree in accounting and has successfully completed a number of advanced degree courses in management, taxation and business valuation. Kris is licensed in both California and Colorado to provide intermediary services.

Donald L. Beezley
Senior Associate

Don is a Senior Associate in Mergers & Acquisitions and also serves as ProForma West’s Director of Business Operations. He specializes in representing small to mid-sized companies in merger, acquisition, business valuations and also provides buyer representation services. Don offers his clients the benefit of 20 years of substantial business experience in diverse industries, serving in senior and ownership roles for companies with as few as 50 employees and $1,000,000 in revenue up to multi-billion dollar global corporations.

Prior to joining ProForma West, he most recently served as Vice President for Development at an internationally renowned public policy research organization based in Washington D.C. Prior to that he held senior positions with a global distribution organization, established, operated and sold several retail franchises, and worked in commercial and consumer banking. Don’s diverse experience brings a unique, well-rounded background in negotiations, finance, operations, sales, marketing, merchandising, business planning and real estate that compliments his transaction knowledge and experience, and offers tremendous benefits to his clients in every industry. Don graduated from the University of Colorado with a degree in Business Administration and an emphasis in Finance and is pursuing his Master’s Degree at Regis University. Don is licensed in the State of Colorado to provide intermediary services.

Jack Cassidy, MBA
Jack Cassidy has been involved in computer modeling and financial planning since earning his MBA from Northwestern in 1971. He has served in various financial roles for Fortune 500 Companies such as American Standard, U.S. Industries, and Fleetwood Enterprises. His government service included five years as a U.S. Navy Supply Corp. Officer, and he also served as a U.S. Treasury Agent. Jack’s Southern California professional experience includes serving as Vice President of Acquisitions for Occidental Land Research and as Senior Vice President for Strategic Planning for Commerce Bank, Newport Beach. He is an adjunct professor at Cal State Fullerton and is licensed in the State of California in securities and to provide intermediary services. Jack works out of the Irvine, California office for ProForma West.

Rick T. Pike
Senior Associate

Rick brings several years of business ownership to the ProForma West team. His extensive experience in the restaurant, commercial services, and real estate industries provides an outstanding foundation for the exceptional service he provides to his clients. He also has a strong background in Sales, Marketing, and Finance. Rick has established, operated, and sold several companies ranging in size from 12 to 85 employees. He has his Bachelors Degree in Business Marketing from Western State College and is licensed in the State of Colorado to provide intermediary services. Rick operates the Fort Collins, Colorado office. He is a member of the International Business Brokers Association and specializes in representing sellers of small to mid-sized private companies in mergers, acquisitions, and consolidations.

Ron Rosenow, MBA, JD
Ron Rosenow was an officer with several large financial institutions and a well-known international merger and acquisition firm prior to joining ProForma West. He has been integrally involved with merger and acquisition activity and has expertise in the resolution of complex legal and financing issues and arrangements between lending institutions and their clients. These experiences have provided him with hands on exposure to a wide variety of companies, their operations, and their industries. Ron holds an MBA with an emphasis in marketing and finance from The Pennsylvania State University and a law degree from Pepperdine University. He also obtained a BS in Resource Management from Oregon State University. Ron works out of the Irvine, California office for ProForma West, Inc.

Michael A. Sklar
Michael has amassed over 17 years of significant business experience in business development, marketing, and sales. Prior to joining ProForma West, he spent two years in the Investment Banking and M&A Advisory industry with firms in Palo Alto, California and Boulder, Colorado. He has expertise in company packaging, strategic positioning and financial modeling. Prior to becoming a business intermediary, Michael served in senior strategic marketing and business development roles for Seagate Technology and Sony Corporation. He also led the marketing and sales effort at Quinta Corporation, a start-up optical storage company that was purchased by Seagate in 1997 for $300M. Michael earned an M.S. in Engineering Management from Stanford University and a B.S. in Industrial Engineering from the University of California at Berkeley. He is licensed in Colorado to provide intermediary services.

Arlyce K. Lewis
Arlyce is the Marketing Manager for ProForma West. Arlyce prepares business review packages, assists clients and brokers, performs research, and updates the ProForma Website and Internet marketing programs. Arlyce has a Bachelors degree in Marketing and Communication from Metro State University. Prior to joining ProForma West, Arlyce was Manager of Community Relations for StorageTek and also Executive Director of the StorageTek Foundation.
